Chris Rodgers

Chris Rodgers hails from the Philadelphia area. After a successful 4-year college career at Bucknell University, Chris continued his basketball career in Europe; playing professionally in the German Bundislega.

 

While playing overseas, he developed a love for coaching and became the head coach and program director for a 14u team. He led the team to back-to-back German championships.

 

Once he finished playing, Chris returned to the US and settled in Los Angeles. He started training high school and college athletes. With over 15 years of coaching experience, Chris continues to train local youth as well as coach Varsity basketball. He developed numerous athletes who currently play college basketball. As a player, he possessed a competitive attitude with a desire to succeed which he now passes on to his players. He believes in motivating players to achieve heights they never thought possible by helping them break through their mental limitations.

Rich Kitagawa

Rich has been coaching basketball for over 40 years.  He has coached at the youth and community level, club and high school.  Coach Rich takes pride in teaching strong fundamentals and the understanding of the game.

Rich believes it is important to help players understand their true potential.  He has been a High School Varsity coach since 1997 winning over 125 Varsity games. He has also coached Club basketball since 2000.  He has led teams to top 5, 7th and 16th places at AAU Nationals Tournaments throughout the United States.  Currently,  Coach is a member of the basketball and softball coaching staffs at La Puente High School.

Madison Quan

As a Junior at Pitzer College, Madison is double majoring in Environmental Analysis and Organizational Studies pursuing a career in Urban Planning and Sustainable Design. In addition to her studies, she plays point guard on the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Basketball Team, a Division 3 member of the NCAA. For the 2019-20 conference play, she led the SCIAC in assists (4.1) and steals (3.1) per game, 3-point percentage (40%), and tied the school record for most points scored in a single game at 38. Based on her performance, Madison was awarded 1st-Team All Conference and was twice named Offensive Athlete of Week for the SCIAC.

While at school, she takes on the role as Pitzer College's Student Impact Council President, Annual Giving Associate at Pitzer College's Office of College Advancement, and the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Basketball Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative.

This Summer, Madison's passion for Urban Planning landed her an internship for JumpWatts, a micro-mobility charging solutions company focused on building a more connected, carbon neutral world. Additionally, she was appointed the position as Director of Marketing and Social Media, as well as basketball trainer and mentor to assist with development and skill building for athletes looking to play at the next level.
